In early June the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released their report entitled “Assessment of the Potential Impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing for Oil and Gas on Drinking Water Resources.” The report did not find evidence of widespread contamination of water supplies as a result of fracking. However it detailed instances of contamination and the many, many opportunities for disaster. Read the full report here:
